Description FX Software Developer Purpose of Position Developer to participate in the creation of a financial trading platform and market data distribution system utilizing existing code infrastructure as well as creating new code base. Applicant will be responsible for software development activities to include software design, implementation and testing. The position calls for a developer with extensive development and hands-on experience in the financial markets, particularly trading platforms. The applicant will be required to design, prototype, implement front end application software using C#, .NET. The applicant will also work closely with existing developers to identify opportunities to re-use the current code base. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong technical aptitude and be detail oriented. PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES * Design, prototype, develop, test and support front end software for FX trading systems in C# and the .NET framework. * The Developer will be responsible for working both individually and as part of teams to design, develop, test and deliver components of a global real-time financial trading network.

Specifications / Qualifications * Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment * Knowledge of the financial markets and financial markets IT infrastructure and products. FX experience is a plus. * At least 5 years experience programming in C#/C++/.NET in a Windows environment. Windows Forms and experience in similar tools highly desirable. * Experience in developing high performance, multi-threaded, scalable applications in a windows environment. * Experience and extensive use of debugging, profiling and optimization tools and methodologies. * Experience in working in a team environment * Experience in technical design. * Experience in developing software that is deployed in a production trading environment * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
