Position Description:

If you are looking for an exciting, fast paced and challenging career in retail then become part of the AT&T Mobility company store organization! In this position the Assistant Store Manager will be responsible for effectively supervising all aspects of a retail location. This position is responsible for recruitment, selection, development and training of all retail sales personnel. Incumbent will be responsible for maintaining a full staff as well as guiding and evaluating employee performance. Consistently achieve sales objectives including activations, accessories, services and revenue goals. Responsible for tracking and measuring the retail store performance. Prepare sales projections, management reports and retail store correspondence. Job responsibility will include managing P&L, effectively managing store payroll including overtime and temp expenses. Also will be required to manage operating revenues and expenses. The ASM guides and evaluates the staffs performance by providing timely feedback. Supports employees during peak periods and manages the store schedule. Successfully completes all sales and data trainings that are identified as core curriculum within the recommended time frame. Completes all performance reviews and ensures the store team provides customers with World-Class experience. Understanding the competition is very important. Prepares Mystery Shopper results, manages churn and acts as subject matter expert to the sales team. Will be responsible for completing all required paperwork in a timely manner, including weekly updates. Manages inventory and cash to meet established guidelines. Responsible for daily financial, accounting, and inventory control. Responsible for following safety guidelines as set by the company. Uphold AT&T values and business ethics and maintain the highest level of confidentiality concerning AT&T assets and proprietary information. Responsible for maintaining store appearance and merchandising to company standards. Also be responsible for implementing store promotions and achieving sales and financial objective within a timely manner. The ASM assists in special projects and other duties as assigned by management. Position Qualifications:

Preferred Qualifications: Internal candidates must be in their current job title for a minimum of 12 months and have 2 years AT&T customer service or sales administration experience. 1 year supervisory experience is preferred. External candidates should have 2 years retail sales management experience.
