Description Smith Barneys Consulting Group is seeking qualified applicants for its Fixed Income Trading Desk. Brief Description: The desk trades fixed income products, such as treasuries, agencies, high grade and high yield corporates, mortgage backed securities, and municipals. This is accomplished mostly on an agency basis for both internal and external money managers. Responsibilities Include: Trading as an agent encompasses obtaining multiple prices from various broker-dealers in an effort to receive the best possible price for the customer(s). This takes place in a dynamic environment with a high phone, fax and email volume in a fast-paced setting.
