Posting Job Title First Officer (Co-Pilot) - Corporate Services TimeWarner Division Time Warner Cable Industry Cable and Telecommunications Services Location United States - New York - New York Requisition # 106431BR Position Type Full Time Posting Job Description POSITION SUMMARY: The Time Warner Cable Corporate office currently seeks 2 First Officers (Co-Pilots) for our Corporate Services department. This position will be primarily responsible for assisting the Captain in ensuring the safety and transportation of TWC employees and other passengers to scheduled destinations from Teterboro Airport in New Jersey. Below please find a brief description of the essential duties and responsibilities required to function successfully in this position. PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES: . Provide assistance to the Captain in all operational phases of the assigned aircraft. . Specific duties include performing pre flight aircraft inspections, maintaining appropriate supplies and equipment on board the aircraft, and maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of assigned aircraft before and after each flight. . Coordinate with other flight crewmembers in ordering aircraft catering when a flight attendant is not part of the flight crew. QUALIFICATIONS: Technical/ Education: . Bachelors degree or equivalent experience and 6-8 years related experience . Recommend 3000 hours total flying time of which 1500 hours are as pilot-in-command . Must hold Airline Transport Pilot certificate and valid First Class FAA Medical Certificate. Comply with all FAA, Company, and international regulations and procedures . Has direct responsibility for the safety of passengers and crew . Functions as the pilot-in-command for assigned aircraft . Supervises the flight crew . Solely responsible in the final determination of any aspect of flight to insure safety of passengers, crew, cargo and aircraft . Analyzes weather conditions with the SIC and makes decisions regarding possible delays, rerouting or flight cancellations . In the event of any deviations from planned flight itinerary, ensures that all passenger needs are satisfied while maintaining the operations high standards of safety and security Business Skills: . Sets the tone and standards for customer service . Anticipates customer needs and requirements and coordinates with others outside own department to meet customer needs . Requires minimal direction, with heavy responsibility for final results - limited only by company policies and budgets .
