Financial Analyst Fortune 50 Media Giant is looking for a systems-savvy professional with a finance background looking to transition into a financial systems project related role. The position involves improving business processes by functioning as a liaison between finance and information technology in a dynamic and project driven environment. The initial primary focus will be on the various Hyperion projects currently in progress or planned. This is an excellent opportunity to learn and grow with one of the pre-eminent media content and distribution companies in the world. The company has holdings around the globe in several mediums including television, newspapers, magazines and inserts, filmed entertainment and book publishing. Responsibilities: • Assessing new software (including Hyperion Planning, Web Analysis) • Assisting divisions with financial systems implementations • Identifying and implementing process improvements • Helping to manage the global Hyperion licensing agreement • Managing and tracking projects • Providing knowledge transfer to finance users Requirements: • 2-3 years experience in finance or information systems • BS in finance or related field • Knowledge or support of Hyperion products (Planning, HFM, Reports, Upstream/FDM) a plus • Budgeting and forecasting experience a plus • Excellent demonstrated written and verbal communications; interpersonal; project management and presentation skills • Ability to communicate effectively with finance and systems departments; position will require interaction across all levels throughout News Corporation and our companies • Willingness to take initiative and manage projects with minimal supervision Do not Miss out!
