Position Description: Duties of position: Assist with the management of the global AUM reporting process, fulfilling quantitative requests for various AIG business units spanning all asset classes (fixed income, equity, hedge, private equity, and real estate). Build relationships and interact with global RFP team members, sales/marketing specialists, and senior management around the world. Coordinate gathering, analyzing and presenting marketing information required to complete client requests, RFP questionnaires, and global surveys for sales/marketing, business development, and various internal business units. Assist with the enhancement of current reporting capabilities and provide detailed analyses of business operations. Requirements: Demonstrated asset management experience with RFPs or marketing/servicing institutional clients preferred. 3 plus years of related experience; preferably with knowledge of asset management industry. Must wish to learn the AIG Investments business and have a strong desire to take ownership of reporting results and explain the results to senior management General knowledge of business concepts, financial instruments and markets. Solid knowledge of Microsoft Excel and experience with pivot tables and filters. Must enjoy working with large amounts of financial data and be a detail oriented, results driven, independent self-starter.
