Intern will work on special projects around both organic and paid search and assist with the overall online marketing of our website, beliefnet.com. Responsibilities .Serve as an intern in the Marketing department; with primary duties focused on search engine marketing .Help with Search Engine Optimization work to prepare for new CMS implementation .Assist Beliefnets SEM agency with Google, Yahoo! and MSN paid search initiatives .Proactively seek new opportunities for marketing Beliefnet on search engines and contextual placements .Help with monthly Search reporting .Create keyword sets for editorial features to maximize search engine exposure .Work with Editors to develop page metadata .Interact with Beliefnets SEM agency representatives and participate in weekly conference call .Other duties as assigned Required Skills .Current full time student, working towards bachelors degree .Strong Internet knowledge and interest in search engine technologies .Solid computer skills including all MS Office programs .Excellent grammar, verbal and written communication skills .Creative and able to think "outside of the box" .Ability to efficiently manage multiple projects and use of time .Must be a self-starter who can work under little supervision with proper training .Detail oriented with good organizational skills .Experience with analytics tools (Google, Webtrends and/or Omniture) preferred .Must work well with others in a team environment .Knowledge of digital asset optimization preferred .Familiarity with social media About Beliefnet Our mission is to help people like you find, and walk, a spiritual path that will bring comfort, hope, clarity, strength, and happiness.
