With internship opportunities in many of our brands such as Juicy, Lucky, kate spade, Liz Claiborne, DKNY Jeans and more, this will be an internship unlike any other. Our Fall 2008 Internship Program is part time and for credit ONLY. It begins on September 22nd, 2008 and ends December 5th, 2008. Opportunities are available in New York City as well as our headquarters in North Bergen, New Jersey.

Responsibilities: The designers at LCI utilize their talent in the form of hand sketches as well as computer technology to create new and exciting designs for our powerful brands. In addition to sketching, designers initialize tech packs, (including trims, specs, fabric), communicate with internal and external partners, attend all necessary meetings related to their division, and help create concept, bodies and theme boards.
Qualifications: The ability to sketch using illustrator Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) High energy, initiative and sense of urgency Ability to be successful in a fast-paced environment. Strong flat sketches Familiarity with adobe illustrator
Minimum Qualifications: -Currently enrolled in an accredited college/university -You must be eligible to receive credit for this internship from your college/university -You must be a sophomore, junior, or senior -Past retail or fashion industry experience is preferred but not required
