Departmental Overview: Corporate Systems is an IT division within the back office of Credit Suisse that supports the Shared Services functions by providing closely aligned and integrated processes and technologies. Finance IT consisting of over 200 IT professionals located globally in London, New York, Zurich and Asia Pacific. Our primary function is to innovate technological change and service the system needs (design, develop and support) of Credit Suisse’s Financial Control Department. Our staff strive to provide solutions for our clients that promote greater productivity and efficiencies and our systems ensure we have in place consistent controls in the areas of Corporate Treasury, Regulatory Reporting, Management and Financial Reporting and Expense Management. The Reporting and Analytics team is responsible for the supporting and enhancing analytical applications within the Financial Control domain. Responsibilities: - Work under supervision to code and unit test application components or modules of relatively low complexity. Deliverables and schedules are set by others. - Develop understanding of clients requirements. Work under supervision to develop working code from technical specifications. Plan and conduct successful unit and performance testing. Participate in code reviews and incorporate learnings into work practices - Learn and apply standard development and change management methodologies - Develop technical invmargin: 0in 0in 0pt; TEXT-ALIGN: justify; tab-stops: .5in" STYLE="margin-top:0px;margin-bottom:0px"- Build awareness of risks associated with application development and of their potential impacts within IT, on the business, and on the firms reputation. - Provide 2ndlevel during office hours from Mon to Friday and in addition be on-call support for 4-5 weekends in a year.

Qualifications Requirements: The candidate must have at least 5 years exposure to Hyperion Essbase 6/7 and have a solid grasp of the following skills: database design and build; database optimisation; build rules/ load rules/calc script development; EssCmd/MaxL Scripting; security/administration. The ideal candidate will currently work in the IT field and have proven Hyperion Essbase development/support skills. These skills will have been gained within an MIS environment where the candidate has acquired good Essbase database development skills and a broader understanding of IT systems. A good understanding of SQL and Oracle relational databases is required.
