The ESL Imprinthas an outstanding opportunity for anDigital Product Manager, ESL/ELT based in New York City, NY. The Digital Product Manager, ESL/ELTwill manage market research for and strategic launch of digital ESL/ELT products across four regions: US, Latin America, Asia, and Middle East. Partner with editorial director and digital content editor to manage digital product road map.
Responsibilities: Drive the effective launch and sales support for all digital products and is responsible for fielding and assessing business opportunities for all product customization requests. He or she must be a self-starting trailblazer who can: 1) work with product development to build offerings that meet said needs 2) partner with regional sales teams to close digital business 3) coach our current bookselling sales force to learn the complexities of digital sales 4) ensure that initial sales lead to renewal revenue streams through effective post-sale client care programs. Additional Responsibilities:
Product management: Team with editorial to outline digital product road map and develop marketing efforts in support of all products on that map. .Marketing communications:Direct the development and dissemination of all messaging, sales and teacher training, and collateral developed to support the effective launch of digital products. .Sales partnership: Partner with regional sales managers to prospect for and drive digital product sales at Top 10 accounts in each region (US, Latin America, Asia, and Middle East), assessing product customization, LMS integration, and post-sale client care needs. .Account management: Develop and monitor post-sale client care programs for all accounts, maximizing strategic use of McGraw-Hill customer and technical support teams and external resources as needed. Partner with regional sales teams to ensure initial sales will lead to renewal annual revenue streams. .Product development and customization: In collaboration with editorial, gather detailed feedback on digital product from the market and direct digital product road map in alignment with strategic growth goals. .Market research: Lead focus groups, make campus visits, participate in sales meetings, and attend professional conferences to ensure digital product road map responds effectively to external markets, pedagogical trends, and company’s business needs. .3-5 years digital sales and/or marketing experience with consistent record of exceeding goal .Proven business development success in the US and at least one international region .Strong analytical skills in the areas of sales forecasting and management .ESL/ELT sales, marketing, product development, and/or teaching experience preferred McGraw-Hill Education: Where the World Learns to Succeed We are an equal opportunity employer.
