Description: Posting Job Title Entertainment Product Intern TimeWarner Division AOL Industry Online Content/Services Brand AOL Location United States - New York - New York Requisition # 105270BR Position Type Intern Posting Job Description The intern for Entertainment Products is welcomed in to a team full of product leads (who own the strategic roadmaps for AOL Music, Moviefone, AOL Television and Black Voices) and product integrators (who specialize in search optimization, content coverage and cross-organizational opportunities and communication), to fulfill tasks from administrative to collaborative. Most of all, this intern is exposed to a dynamic environment where entertainment media is offered in increasingly engaging web experiences, and thus learns on the job much about the challenges and opportunities in digital media (particularly music) today. Duties for Entertainment Products intern include: - Product audits / competitive intelligence surveying - Product reviewing, and providing a fresh outlook on our work in progress - Document management / updates for Product Requirements - Product roadmap feature backlog management - List management for Music Artists, Movie Titles, TV Shows, Celebrities - Editorial Calendar Updates - Metadata Management in Content Management System for Media Assets (e.g. music videos) - User feedback review and correspondence - Basic administrative duties (copies, listservs, etc). Requirements: - Love of the Web, everyday use of web media in a connected world - Involvement in social networks and awareness of "web 2.0" trends - Basic understanding of Search Engine Optimization - "Product-mindedness" - being cognizant of what makes some products successful and others not, and finding opportunity in improving existing products as well as being able to conceive of products that do not exist yet but which will address an unmet consumer need. - Strong proficiency in MS Office software suite and quick understanding of using new software and publishing tools - A familiarity with AOL Music, Moviefone, AOL Television, as well as their major competitors and creative ideas about improvement (hint: useful for interview).
