Position Summary: SCORE! offers an unpaid Education Administration Internship, open to rising juniors and seniors in college. Interns are required to be available to work at least 15 hours per week. The intern will assist the management team in all phases of our students academic experience. They will gain valuable experience in the field of education and will take an active role in improving the academic progress of every student in the Center. Skills/Experience Acquired: . Effective use of various teaching techniques . Learn how to deliver and interpret academic assessments . Exposure to revenue and expense management . People development skills . Enhance communication skills Responsibilities: . Deliver educational services to our members including parent and teacher communication, delivery of instruction and student motivation. . Effectively monitor student lesson plans, student academic progress and assessments. . Work with the Academic Manager and/or Center Director to ensure the Center meets and exceeds company benchmarks for academic progress. . Observe instruction to ensure quality of instruction and overall service delivery. . Act as a positive academic role model to all students. . Participate in selling educational programs for SCORE! and attend marketing events for the Center. Requirements: . Currently pursuing a Bachelors degree in Education or related degree (junior or senior status) with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher . Self starter with a proven ability to learn quickly, work independently and exceed expectations in a performance driven environment . Strong interpersonal skills, able to build rapport and credibility with parents and teachers . Demonstrate strong communication skills, both oral and written . Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle numerous details . Outstanding creative thinking and problem solving skills . Passion for education, customer service and business growth . Teaching/tutoring experience preferred . Ability to travel within the local area and work evenings and weekends . Must be authorized to work in the United States
