The Electrical Engineer Intern role requires a strong educational background in electrical engineering and design. Responsibilities will involve familiarity preparing and reviewing engineering drawings along with associated construction documents. Role may involve working multiple projects consecutively with multiple IBM teams, external engineering firms and IBM clients. Ideal candidate would be familiar with the latest data center electrical design methodologies and technologies (i.e. redundancy requirements, capacity planning, power distribution, electrical back-up systems, UPS systems, lightning suppression systems, etc.). Excellent written and verbal communications, client relationship and team leadership skills are essential to success in this position.
