Description: Job Title Director Photography Auto req ID 521BR CBS Business Unit CBS Television Network Division/Station CBS Network Department Photography Location New York - New York Job Description Plan, develop and execute all Photography Coverage of all assigned CBS Television and CW Broadcasts. Meet with Publicity executives to provide policy and creative direction for all materials. Editing of Photography materials to include extensive retouching utilizing PhotoShop. Create widgets and other graphical interface elements for placement on websites to promote CBS/CW porgramming. Direct distribution of photographic materials to national newspaper, magazine and internet outlets for publicity purposes. Liaison with both East and West Coast Photo Staffs to provide photographic coverage on location. Hire freelance photographers, wardrobe, makeup and all necessary personnel to execute photo sessions on-location and gallery. Manage and maintain the budgets for photo sessions. Assist Vice President with all photographic direction. Assist all Press Conference Photographic Coverage and distribution. Required Skills/Experience

* 5+ years related work experience * Advanced Photoshop skills * Experience working with digital photography and digital technologies * Experience with digital asset management and editing systems to include editing, entering metadata and uploading to ftp and web sites * Experience with FileMaker Pro and Photo Mechanic * Experience in a Photography environment at another network, magazine, newspaper or photo agency

Minimum Education Level Bachelors Degree Job Status Full Time
