Description The Director of Secured Credit Products will be responsible for growing secured product (home equity lines/loans and mortgages) balances, revenue and net income. He / She will directly manage or influence the secured business from an end-to-end perspective, covering optimization of the product value proposition, pricing, channel selection, marketing & promotion, processing and servicing, credit policy and portfolio retention / utilization. He /She will manage product acquisition through existing field sales, and direct-to-consumer telesales, mail and online acquisition channels, as well as evaluate and develop new channels of customer acquisition. The Director of secured products will have sales origination, balance growth and revenue ownership of Plan targets, and he /she must create and manage an annual marketing and business plan to deliver an annual revenue / net income contribution target at or above ROTA hurdle. He / she will manage a staff of 4 FTE. Key responsibilities include: * Develop and drive the secured product growth strategy and tactics to deliver Plan growth targets, methodically evaluating and executing across the “7 P’s”: product functionality, pricing, promotion, processing, policy, placement (channels) and portfolio management * Continuously improve net acquisition performance within primary field sales, telesales and direct mail channels. Customize the value proposition, marketing message and fulfillment to maximize channel specific pull through. Leverage business partnerships (e.g., mortgage lending consultant sales force, Bank @ Work, Business Banking, CHE, CCS, National Sales) to accelerate front end sales growth * Develop a robust portfolio management capability, focused on customer retention, product utilization and migration across the Bank’s spectrum of loan products. Partner with CHE to enhance existing loyalty efforts. Develop new initiatives and programs (e.g., bureau trigger marketing, customer service retention platform, new products - HELOC Card access, interest only loans, etc). * Identify key customer needs and usage and attitudes related to secured products as basis for refining product features, pricing and messaging. Ensure the Bank’s secured lending products are differentiated and well positioned against national competitors. * Track ongoing product / program metrics in partnership with Decision Management to evaluate the performance against target and prioritize resource allocation. Maintain monthly sales and balance forecast with Finance, identifying and managing to opportunities and risks. * Partner with St. Louis processing team, providing monthly volume forecasts for capacity planning. Drive new process enhancements to gain efficiency - reduction in cycle time, improved booking rates, etc. - and to maximize PB and customer satisfaction * Manage and develop a staff of 6

Specifications / Qualifications Candidates must have a proven track record in product marketing with 10+ years of overall marketing experience. Experience managing customer acquisition and loyalty programs is a requisite as is direct experience in 1stand 2ndmortgage real estate lending. Ideal candidates will also have demonstrated the ability to create, sell and implement new business development initiatives up and across the organization. Undergraduate degree required, MBA preferred. Ability to model and track financial goals and targets. * Quality / Attention to Detail: maintains high standards of product, service and process quality. Manages the business with attention to detail and data integrity. Possesses good follow-up skills and manages projects to agreed upon timelines. * Communication: strong ability to communicate / present ideas and plans face-to-face and in writing. * Leadership: strong leadership and influencing skills. Synthesizes market and competitive data into compelling and defensible strategic insights. Sells and guides strategy across business functions.
