Description:
Responsibilities for the Director of Private Equity include:

- Handling client relationships and client meetings
- Managing and monitoring the timing and quality of client deliverables
- Providing technical counting/industry knowledge to clients
- Preparing of client service plans including annual budget
- Establishing a plan for new client setup and transitions
- Coordinating, managing and monitoring the external audit process
- Providing overall work plan for accounting staff, which includes managing and monitoring work in progress
- Assisting in staff recruiting, training and development programs
- Reviewing private equity fund clients partnership agreements
- Implementing fund structures on accounting system
- Preparing and implementing distribution/waterfall models
- Reviewing limited partner and general partner allocations
- Reviewing client financial statements, partner capital statements and other required financial reporting

Required Skills:
- 7+ years of public or public/private accounting experience
- Background in hedge fund, private equity and/or partnership accounting
- Solid managerial skills
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills
