Description:
Responsibilities:

- Manage the Pharmacy Department to provide pharmaceutical services to all hospital services and disciplines
- Maintain liaisons with outside groups or agencies as needed
- Make budget recommendations for capital equipment needs and operational expenses along with a projection of departmental revenues
- Serve on committees as outlined in the Institutes Administrative Policies and Procedures
- Prepare departmental work schedules and approves payroll
- Communicate and enforce hospital policies and procedures concerning pharmacy services to hospital employees
- Participate in staff, supervisory and special meetings or projects of committee as required
- Maintain or provide for maintenance of necessary records and reports as to quantity, quality and timeliness of work done in department  
- Review and evaluate departments performance
- Assist staff pharmacists in day to day operations as needed
- Maintain and develop personal clinical skills through direct patient care, clinical involvement and continuing  education

Required Skills:
- Bachelors in Pharmacy
- Current NJ State License
- 5+ years hospital pharmacy experience
- Management experience
