More information about this job: Overview: Director, within the Partnered Brands Division, responsible for the financial operations for Mid-Tier. The Mid-Tier brands deliver a mix of fashion that is modern, versatile and affordable. The breath of the brand is communicated to the consumer through the clothing and cutting edge advertising and marketing. Mainly sold exclusively in department stores (i.e. - Kohls, JC Penny) throughout the United States, Canada and Latin America. GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF ROLE (Overview) Act as "Financial and Operational Partner" to businesses working closely with department heads across multiple brands and key functional areas such as full Profit and Loss responsibility, merchandise planning, sales, etc. Develop and implement financial, operational and strategic objectives and plans.

Responsibilities: Key Responsibilities: . Partner with Divisional President to report across multiple brands, develop business plans, and analyze actuals and business drivers of division. . Partner with Cross Functional team to ensure Revenue and Expenses are properly forecasted . Full P&L ownership of all revenue and costs that directly impact the business . Full understanding of the Balance Sheet and Cash Flow of the business . Manage and lead the Capital Expenditures spending and returns on investment . Responsible for Monthly close, budgeting and forecasting of Retail and Wholesale Brands . Constant analysis of Risk and opportunities across brands and distribution channels. . Margin analysis by brand and distribution channel . Inventory Management ( Finished Goods, Collateral, GWPs and Components) . Partner with Production and Manufacturing to ensure capital expenditures are in line with Budgets . Analysis of Reserves for Vendor Assistance . Monitor Retail sales and Inventory turn . Review Industry competitive analysis with Sales Team . Prepare monthly operating review presentations for Senior Management . Evaluate and financially support strategic business initiatives-steer direction of business . Develops and mentors associates to higher levels of performance and growth

Qualifications: QUALIFICATIONS FOR POSITION (work exp., education, etc.): . Minimum of 10 years P&L management experience; apparel business or consumer products background preferred . Bachelor degree in Accounting or Finance preferred . Ability to work under pressure in fast - paced environment . Project management abilities . Supervision and Leadership skills to effectively influence . Solid decision making and judgement ability . Financial and technical knowledge with strong inter-personal skills . Process reengineering or improvement capabilities . Must be very detailed oriented . Effective communicator with strong written and verbal skills . Knowledge of financial systems i.e. JD Edwards, Hyperion . CPA or MBA a plus!
