We are currently seeking a Financial Due Diligence Director to join us in our New York office. Financial Due Diligence (FDD) services provide support throughout the transaction life cycle on both the "buy side" and "sell side," to both strategic and financial buyers. This support includes pre-bid assessments, financial, tax, commercial, and information systems due diligence, integration risk assessments, and accounting and tax transaction advisory services. Responsibilities: . Manage buy-side and sell-side transaction advisory engagements for both strategic and financial buyers . Provide financial, accounting, commercial, and operational due diligence services to Fortune 1000 companies and private equity investors . Manage and coordinate KPMGs engagement teams throughout the transaction process . Create or design tailored transaction advisory reports specific to key issues which address stakeholder concerns, valuation models, synergies, contractual issues and accounting and tax reporting implications; including analyses of operating results, financial position, cash flows, quality of assets and earnings, potential liabilities and risks, and the impact of findings on the valuation of the target organization Qualifications: . Eight years of experience in one of the following with a public accounting firm: accounting, advisory, financial audit, or transaction services . Strong current knowledge in one of the following: U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) financial reporting issues, mergers and acquisitions, or transaction services . Experience with current audit and accounting concepts, as well as, SEC filings (1933 and 1934 Act filings) . Excellent written and verbal communication skills . Licensed CPA, CA, or CFA (level II passed) . Able to travel 35-45 percent KPMG offers and supports flexible work arrangements as well as part-time schedules.
