DIRECTOR - CONTENT PROMOTION AND MANAGEMENT Reporting into the GM-SVP of Jamster North America, the Director of Content Promotion and Management will lead the editorial, promotional and operational aspects of content in US and Canada. This individual will play active part in supporting Jamsters go to market strategy by ensuring that the most leveragable content is being made available from partners and recommending appropriate content for advertising and promotional campaigns. The ideal candidate will bring strong understanding of music, visual content and games with an eye towards associating styles and genres of content with consumer target segments including niche segments. This individual will also partner successfully with internal product, licensing, production and technology teams in order to address internal process improvements, marketing optimization and consumer opportunities. SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES: . Create and maintain an editorial calendar/roadmap for content in order to creatively promote content, maximize sales and drive customer satisfaction . Program consumer online portals to promote the most compelling content, effectively market key licenses and increase awareness of the brand . Lead a highly efficient team of content experts in music, images, video and games charged with managing the content area on day to day basis . Manage and optimize partnerships with content providers following the development of licensing deals . Track and report on sales data and trends. Analyze download trends to program for expected customer demand. . Work closely with the licensing department to identify new content for distribution and analyze potential sales of said content. . Collaborate with the product team to identify new mobile products and assist in the production and delivery of those products. . Collaborate with technical and project management teams to improve content management system as well as content delivery process EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Qualified candidates have 7+ years proven expertise in marketing-oriented content editorial and management. MBA or equivalent post-graduate academic credentials preferred. Must have strong knowledge of mobile, digital media, entertainment and expansive knowledge base of popular culture. Must be able to perform well and achieve high quality results within a dynamic, growing and cross-cultural global organization. Must have excellent organizational skills, have ability to work under pressure and and deliver high quality output under tight deadlines. Must have excellent communication skills and demonstrable experience in leading highly efficient teams. Must be able to travel domestically and internationally up to 30%%.
