Description: The Director, Biostatistics will manage ongoing interactions with co-operative groups. Work closely with field based medical to ensure integrated and synergistic organized customer/KOL plans in the US. Provide medical leadership for major oncology scientific meetings like ASCO. Lead the development of overall US oncology nursing. Partner with global product teams, development teams, marketing, regulatory and legal on educational interactions, conferences and key institutions for oncology discussions. Liaise with GSC/MSC of late-stage pipeline products to identify areas of research with key external groups aligned with Asset Lifecycle Plan. Contribute to brand strategies and Operating Plans. Serve as the primary Oncology representative to pertinent professional organizations and develop strategy for partnership opportunities. Manage portfolio level projects as requested by Group Leader. Develop and manage collaborative relationships with external academic institutions, co-operative groups and medical professionals. Facilitate meetings and conduct formal presentations to professional audiences. Requirements: experience working in the EU or other world regions and knowledge of ROW clinical trial regulatory requirements. A PhD with 8 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry with experience in oncology research and preferably Phase III/IV studies required.
