Position will coordinate all sales of DC comics and book format titles, MAD Magazine and DC Direct items to retailers through exclusive sales agent. Support Manager in the development of sales plans, presentations, special promotions and all sales support materials. Develop sales forecasts. Perform scheduled sales calls to retailers. Attend conventions and represent DC Comics to retail community and consumers. Performs others duties as necessary. Requirements College degree in Marketing or Business preferred but not required. Minimum of two years related sales experience, preferably in consumer retail (comics, books, records, video, etc.). Knowledge of the comic book industry and the relationship between retailers, distributors, publishers, and freelancers required. Familiarity with DC Comics and MAD Magazine product line very desirable. PC proficiency required. Must be familiar with Word, Excel and Filemaker. Ability to work under pressure with self employed retailers and their employees. Ability to travel and work some weekends required.
