Responsibilities: * Design HTML prototypes, visual interfaces, and interaction of web-based applications. * Participate in all stages of website UI and graphic design including UI research and analysis of industry standards, creation of wireframes and page flows, and design & development of functional prototypes. * Collaborate with an UI Engineer, a broader web development team, and sometimes with marketing. * Produces graphic designs and copy layouts for online content. Determines size and arrangement of illustrative material and copy, selects style and size of type, and arranges layout based upon available space, knowledge of layout principles, and aesthetic design concepts. * The majority of assignments will be for WireImage.com, FilmMagic.com, ContourPhotos.com, and related web apps.Qualifications: * Bachelors degree or equivalent in Graphic Design, Information Technology, Information Architecture or similar field. * Minimum of 3 years professional design or agency experience. * Solid understanding, knowledge, and experience in user centered design principles, information design, and visual design including but not limited to color theory, typography, corporate identity, and brand awareness. * Must be proficient with HTML, Flash/ActionScript, and CSS.
