Description Description: * VP to act as deal manager responsible for all aspects of real estate debt placement, including: working with acquisitions and asset management staff to determine optimal debt strategies for existing assets and those being acquired; coordinate the efforts of junior staff and outside consultants in preparation of financing request memorandums; obtaining and reviewing debt quotes; compiling quote matrixes and advising portfolio managers on choice of lenders; negotiating term sheets with lenders; negotiation of terms and conditions within loan collaborating with JPM constituencies; attorneys and third party providers; coordinating the flow of information and managing due diligence calls; and assuring progress through closing.

Qualifications * A minimum of 5-10 years experience with an institutional real estate investor or lender with responsibility for real estate underwriting placement or lending, including: o Extensive knowledge and skill in the structuring of loans to accommodate borrower needs and maximize internal rates of return, o Familiarity with a broad range of real estate financing structures, including: securitized fixed and floating rate CMBS, structured transactions involving reserves, earn-outs, and other complex structures, construction loans, and the assumption and restructuring of existing debt, o Knowledge of fundamental real estate cash flow and valuation analysis for all property types, including: office, industrial, retail, hotel, self storage, and multifamily sectors, o Working knowledge of loan Superb interpersonal skills to establish and manage relationships with team members, borrowers, mortgage bankers, participating lenders and lawyers. o Extensive negotiating skills; ability to maintain a strong position without creating rancor, while fostering strong relationship without compromising important issues, o Ideal candidate will also have significant experience with deal management of complex, large loans and/or subordinate financing, . Highly organized, diligent and detail oriented with strong project management skills and the ability to manage a large volume of workflow, . Excellent written and verbal communication skills, . Formal credit training is desired, but not requisite, . Experience must demonstrate that the candidate has all of the skills listed above.
