Description: Our client, an established hedge fund, seeks data management analysts who will be responsible for assisting our business development, relationship management, and research departments in the management and analysis of information. The team is a hybrid investment initiative that combines sell-side discretionary trade ideas with their quantitative strategies. The ideal candidate will have: a bachelors degree from a top school; 1-2 years experience with financial data; proficiency with SQL databases; intermediate programming and scripting skills (Unix/Perl/Java); and the ability to work well in an evolving and fast-paced environment. Other essentials include excellent problem solving skills, and strong communication and analytical skills.
