Field Service Technician (Customer Engineer Level 2) NCR Field Service Technician (Customer Engineer level 2) associates provide installation, maintenance and repairs on equipment within an assigned territory/region to assure continuity of customer operations and high levels of customer satisfaction. In this role, you will have ownership of customer problems or incidents until the situation has been resolved to the customerâ• Ts satisfaction and or in compliance with agreed upon Service Level Agreements. You will perform Tier II/III work on products and services of medium-high complexity. Tier II/III products include large servers and mainframe computers and peripherals, large system printers and plotters, enterprise level servers, networks and software, item processing reader/sorters and networking issues on imaging systems, medium/high complexity networking/communications equipment, network and systems management/protocols (Ethernet, Token-Ring, StarLAN, NetBIOS, X.25). Primary services include installation, software support, network management, hardware maintenance and multi-vendor maintenance. Local candidates STRONGLY preferred. Responsibilities: â• a Provide installation, maintenance and repairs on POS (Point of Sale) / ATM and other electromechanical equipment at various locations within an assigned territory/region â• a Provide continuity of customer operations and high levels of customer satisfaction Basic Qualifications ïf~ To be considered for this position, you must have ONE of the following: o A+ certification o 2 year degree in electronics or computer technology o High school diploma or GED and at least 2 years of hands-on POS/ATM repair experience in a customer field environment o High school diploma or GED and at least 2 years of PC repair experience in a customer field environment. ïf~ Must be a local candidate ïf~ Must be authorized to work in the U.S. ïf~ Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, overtime, flex shifts and on-call ïf~ Must have a valid drivers license ïf~ Must pass comprehensive background check including credit check, criminal, driving record, and drug screen.
