Description This position is responsible for managing the Category Supply Chain Planning team. This team is responsible to plan production of category products that are needed to fill our customers’ orders on time and complete. Should lead this team in pursuit of working capital reductions. Oversee the increased usage of SAP APO planning systems by undergoing a never ending renewal process with the Supply Chain Integration Team. Managerial responsibilities also include delivering an improved linkage to the Demand Planning and Business Development teams through the Commercial Operations process. This position also improves customer service and logistics relationships by supporting selling teams and helping to align account plans with supply chain executory plans and resolving issues. Position is responsible to support on-going toothbrush business needs for North America for GTD. * Lead the Category Planning to maximize results against Customer Service, Working Capital, and Key Performance Indicators. * Empower subordinates by training, information sharing, and delegation, to ensure the development of people and organizational capabilities. * Supports the continuous improvement of the business processes related to finished goods production and inventory replenishment by Category. * Manages cross-border sourcing requirements for this Supply Chain. * Facilitate the development of new products production plan. * Create production plans that support the replenishment demand generated by APO. * Work with the NA Inventory Mgr to ensure the planning settings and safety stocks are correct * Collaborate closely with the SC Integration Team to find continuous improvement opportunities to drive efficient, cost effective Finished Goods replenishment to meet CS&L cost, service and inventory goals/KPIs. * Compile quarterly forecast data for GTD for all North American subsidiaries * Represent North America during quarterly and annual GTD meetings * Mediate with suppliers to ensure US Colgate needs are met. * Complete all phases of PM&D process in a quality manner for all direct reports and encourage quality completion for extended team to facilitate the achievement of our business objectives and improve employees personal skills and ability and enhance professional development: * Review and discuss entire teams individual objectives * Conduct meaningful performance discussions with direct reports during Mid Year Reviews and Annual Reviews * Conduct meaningful development discussions with direct reports during IDPs and review and support entire teams IDPs. * Provide on-going coaching and feedback and obtain stakeholder. * Develop mechanisms to communicate and monitor orders, sales forecasting/SNOP

Qualifications and Competencies Basic Qualifications: * BA/BS Degree in Engineering, Materials Management, Logistics, or related field * Minimum of 7 years combined supply chain, logistics, and customer service experience * Experience and ability to work with category development, multifunctional selling teams, customer service, and plant operations. * Applicable knowledge in Microsoft applications, SAP.
