This position is accountable for the application implementation, daily support and operations of the Corporate Application focused on the Microsoft Dynamics GP environment and various other applications with exposure to other business systems. Position Reports to the Manager of Corporate Applications. Overview: The role is functional / technical with somewhat emphasis towards the technical. We currently have the following Dynamics modules running: AR, AP, GL, FA, PO, HR, Captaris Expenses and Requisitions. We are currently running MS Dynamics 9.0 with plans to go to 10.0 early 2008.
Responsibilities: 1. Perform technical duties and development: i.e. code reports, interfaces, customizations and business alerts using Microsoft technologies and SQL, troubleshoot issues as needed 2. Administer end user security request as per Sarbanes Oxley. 3. Manage Captaris automated workflow using .NET framework,
VB.NET, C#,
ADO.NET,
ASP.NET and Web services. 4. Assist with the support and implementation of corporate applications and other modules on an as needed basis 5. Perform functional duties i.e. establish business processes, configure the application, design solutions, write test scripts, perform testing, error resolution, end user training, work with Microsoft Support to resolve issues. 6. Develop and establish working relationships with management. 7. Provide technical first/second line software support for end users related to Corporate Applications. 8. Train or assist with End User training on all systems. 9. Implement standards and procedures to quickly and efficiently provide problem determination and resolution. 10. Strengthen day to day operations and manage risk to the business while executing strategies to enable its future growth. 11. Perform problem and escalation management for user troubles, application issues, and application service interruptions 12. Travel may be required (most likely infrequent).
Qualifications: Qualifications: ' Working towards a BA/BS required with a concentration in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or Business ' Knowledge of database concepts and accounting concepts ' Understanding of Experience with some or all of the following technologies: o MS Dynamics GP, Dexterity, .NET, SQL Server, .NET Development, MS Business Portal/Sharepoint, Terminal Server, Captaris WorkFlow, LDAP, FTP, Infopath, Web Development -- HTML/ASP/PHP, SOA, Biztalk ' Deep understanding of Microsoft Analysis Services, Reporting Services, SSIS, DTS and ability to manage SQL backup strategies and DBA duties ' Understand customer service and service delivery ' Flexible, Team Player that is customer focused ' Seeks to expand knowledge and experience and is committed to continuous learning. ' Willingness to go above and beyond in order to get things done. ' Strong work ethic. ' Ability to work in a challenging, rewarding, fluid environment
