Additional responsibilities include compiling resource listings for the Directory section. QUALIFICATIONS Candidate should: - have a minimum of two to four years of professional full-time copyediting experience at a consumer magazine - demonstrate excellent, quick copyediting skills on a copyediting test - excel at working closely and collaboratively with editors; should be comfortable discerning the line between minor copy fixes and line-editing suggestions that call for the story editors review - have experience working with Woodwing, Quark/QPS and Word; familiarity with blog/ web publishing a plus - be comfortable working under deadline, thrive on quick turnarounds, and excel at finding the balance between good copyediting and getting the piece published
Interest and knowledge in DIY, architecture, and home renovation a plus.
