Position Overview:

The Position Macrovision is a leading global technology and entertainment company seeking an experienced Marketing Coordinator. A new position designed to support a growing team; the Marketing Coordinator will assist with marketing efforts spanning brand development and creative services, as well as manage day-to-day operations. The ideal candidate will be an expert multitasker with experience supporting a busy marketing department. In addition, he or she will need to be adaptable to changing needs and a strong communicator. The Marketing Coordinator role not only offers broad experience in both B-to-B and B-to-C marketing, but it also provides exposure to leading entertainment brands, including TV Guide and All Media Guide, which were recently acquired by Macrovision. Additionally, the Marketing Coordinator will have the opportunity to take on added responsibilities and develop his or her own career path. Key Responsibilities: • Liaising with vendors and strategic partners to keep projects on track • Creating and maintaining research library and competitive samples • Developing presentations and recommendations based on competitive findings • Developing, editing and proofreading presentations and other forms of communication • Organizing and managing graphic archive, marketing section of employee intranet • Updating the shared marketing calendar on behalf of the team • Compiling and finalizing the team status report, and other reports as necessary • Collecting and tracking Global Brand Management communications • Submitting invoices to AP and tracking the payment process; assisting with budget • Managing extensive T&E for global, strategic branding exercise including focus groups and executive interviews (e.g., confirming travel and interviews, creating itinerary with detailed contact information, etc.) • General assistance with scheduling and hosting meetings

Responsibilities: The Person • Experienced supporting a busy marketing department • Organized and detail-oriented; strong multitasker • Excellent written and oral communications skills • A master of Microsoft Office applications (e.g., PowerPoint, Word, Excel) • Able to work effectively with a geographically dispersed team • High level of energy and commitment; a self-starter from the word "go" • Ability to manage many disparate projects simultaneously and ‘manage up' as necessary • Background in a technology or entertainment company a plus Requirements: • Four year degree • 2-4 years experience in marketing or related field • Proficient with MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel (Adobe Photoshop, InDesign a plus)
