POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES & EXPERIENCE One of the major trends that has influenced the financial services practice at BearingPoint centers on the convergence of CRM, data, risk management, compliance, privacy, information security. These components themselves are heavily influenced by the laws and regulations within the financial services industry, specifically:
. USA PATRIOT Acts Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Know-Your-Customer (KYC) provisions . GLBA & EU Data Privacy Directive (strictures to protect customer privacy) . Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002 . Basel II (credit risk management capabilities)
All of these governance initiatives, and the convergence components, have overlapping data, process and technology requirements. With all of these factors at play, how does an enterprise make sense of, and even manage, the elements as they effect customer information? In other words, "How does an enterprise pull together, appropriately protect and then use client information?"

The Senior Manager of this practice residing within the financial services practice will work closely with his/her risk and CRM colleagues. When successful, they will provide the best in information convergent solutions.
This position will be most appropriate for a Consulting Manager or Senior Analyst who truly understands the implications of data convergence, compliance, customer information management and information security. This field is just being created, and it has spawned a "end-run strategy" unlike anything else in the market.
Work experience should include:
.Work on projects within a new identity management solutions practice
.Experience with application security, application risk, data & transit and FFIC regulatory issues.
.Help to develop identity management solutions that build upon the work that has been generated by BearingPoint.
.Work with implementation colleagues globally to develop processes and appropriate pricing for projects, making full use of the current development centers in India.
.Help to create solution development and delivery competencies (technical, people, process) for identity management.
.Help to integrate security services and delivery across Financial Services teams.
Qualifications Include: EDUCATION Undergraduate degree required, MBA is preferred.
