Position Description: AIG Domestic Claims has an excellent opportunity for a Complex Director position in the Excess Casualty/PSU division. This position typically handles the highest complexity level claims, which have moderate to higher monetary exposure, in which AIG provides both the primary and excess coverage. This includes making coverage determinations, investigating the loss, conducting an independent assessment as to the companyâ?s exposure, participate in developing and implementing the most cost effective and timely disposition and litigation plan to ensure the claims closure via settlement or litigation. The qualified candidate should have a minimum of 6 years experience in the insurance or legal fields. This position requires excellent negotiation skills and a comprehensive understanding of the litigation and arbitration process. A JD, MBA, or CPCU is a plus, but not required. Ideal candidate must enjoy negotiating and travel.
