Description: A Commissions Billing Specialist provides zone-wide support by assisting with the recognition of commissions revenue for the Health & Benefits business. To fulfill this roll, the Commissions Billing Specialist will support the local office%%27s (or regional) Benefits Accounting Manager and:%%0A%%0A * Assist with the post conversion clean up of information that migrated from our legacy financial systems into our new/current financial system%%0A * Daily focus on the maintenance of the office’s commission based insurance policies in order to recognize the revenue %%0A * Reach out to and collect commission expectations and transparency documentation from client team members (or client facing colleagues) and enter them into the financial system so the commissions can be recognized as revenue %%0A * Tracking and reconciliation of commissions through the life-cycle of the policy, from the inception, renewal, and (when applicable) termination of the policy%%0A * Work with finance in recognizing revenue and informing them what should be done with commission receipts%%0A * Set up client financial codes, request commissioned based policies, liaise with financial system administrators (find out what the client assignments will be, initiate codes, add codes to pick list as needed, etc), and advise consultants of correct codes to use.%%0A * Assist with financial reporting on a timely and accurate basis%%0A * Generate financial reports and distribute to client teams for commissions reconciliation and collections%%0A * Ability to follow and maintain electronic filing procedures%%0A * Provide regional support and assist in the production of new and expanded sales reports as well as liaise with local sales leaders to access the information%%0A * Ability to assist in ad-hoc projects as needed. * 2 to 3 years experience; proven financial analysis or accounting background; experience in consulting environment preferred * Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Basic Project Management skills * Excellent organizational, time management, execution and tracking skills. Excellent written and oral communication skills * Strong attention to detail and follow through with the ability to set priorities and deliver in a fast paced environment * Demonstrated diplomacy in dealings with service areas, consultants, and clients * Exceptional interpersonal, organizational, business communication and time management skills * Strong Data Entry Skills.
