Job description Responsible for managing the lifecycle of application partnerships. This includes leading sales cycles with prospects and post-sale account management as our partners develop solutions on the Cognos/IBM platform. Pre-sales activities include following the Cognos/IBM sales methodology to qualify new partner opportunities, define the prospects technical requirements and demonstrate/prove out the capabilities of the Cognos solution to meet those requirements. Account management activities include working with strategic accounts to promote best practices and optimal use of Cognos/IBM technologies, development of demonstration systems, and participating in partner sales and marketing activities. This person must also work in conjunction with other Solution Architects in accounts where specialized talent is required. Must live in Northern or Southern CA.

Experience should include: Security Integration (any or combination of: Authentication, Authorization, LDAP, SSO).
