Description:
Responsibilities for the Clinical Research Nurse include:

- Coordinating and carrying out designated clinical research studies accomplished through the development and updating of protocols, procedures, and standards for study in collaboration with investigators
- Teaching patients protocol-specific information
- Reinforcing compliance with protocol procedures
- Collecting research data as required
- Providing direct nursing care as needed
- Coordinating and instructing other research team members on protocol-specific issues

Required Skills:

- 2+ years of clinical experience
- Phlebotomy and IV insertion experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Certification in basic and advanced life support
- Current NYS Registered Nurse (RN) licensure
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing
