Job Description Unit Accountant - Bronxville, NY Provide accounting support to two campus locations. Produce accounting reports for the management team and also for the Corporate Accounting department.

Recipe to Succeed: * Assist with monthly, quarterly, annual tasks, including but not limited to: monthly and fiscal close, internal and external audit reporting, report preparation and distribution. * Review of operating ledger and balance sheet as needed in resolving various accounting/reconciliation issues. * Prepare weekly RMS paperwork and flash report. * Analyze cash and credit card activity to ensure conformity with Company cash, credit card, and banking policies and procedures. Assist in accounts receivable collection. * Process and reconcile weekly inventory. * Process and reconcile weekly payroll including maintaining attendance records and sick and vacation time. * Process vendor invoices. * Monitor and support the maintenance of the department databases. * Special projects. * Manage and train staff.Necessary Ingredients: * Bachelor’s degree required in Accounting/Finance, and 3+years business experience. * MS Office literate with spreadsheet proficiency; database experience desired. * Excellent analytical and organizational skills. * Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment. * Management experience required. * Multi unit Accounting experience is preferred.
