Job Description: Responsible for equipping and maintaining broadcast facilities to accommodate the needs of high profile network programs. Installation, modification, and repair of studio systems including audio consoles, patch bays, routers, telephone systems, profanity delays, automation systems, T1 mux gear and devices that facilitate the airing of commercials on our affiliates. Provide ISDN and computer support to the staff. Continually update and maintain all documentation for multiple sites and projects. Possess ability to build and trouble-shoot electronic equipment from a schematic diagram. . SBE certification preferred. Strong IT skills preferred. . Experience using NexGen (or similar automation technology) a must. . Must be able to multitask with composure in high stress situations. . Strong oral and written communication skills and highly developed organizational skills. . Must present a professional attitude and appearance at all times. . Must continually adapt to frequently changing conditions. . Occasionally required bending and lifting 50 pounds. . Some weekend work maybe required and must be available 24/7.
