Senior Analyst Risk Technology New York, NY The Risk Technology group provides technical support and development solutions for the firms corporate Risk Management business covering Market Risk, Credit Risk and Operational Risk. The Risk Architecture Group is a newly formed group whose responsibilities include the development of a strategic target state architecture for the risk platforms (market, credit an operational risk), and an interim roadmap for getting there. The three streams that we will be considering are: Technical Architecture, covering products and platforms; Application Architecture, covering systems and components; and Information Architecture, covering information sources and stores. Additionally, the group has a mandate to develop a culture of architecture within Risk Technology. This will be accomplished through a set of architecture forums, engagement with enterprise architecture and an oversight program for new initiatives. The group is looking for a data centric Analyst to focus on Information Architecture. The individual will have responsibility to: Interface with upsteam systems (Front office technology & reference data groups) to specify and analyze data sourcing interfaces for risk & finance Define appropriate business rules for validating all source data (transactions, positions, risk sensitivities, reference data etc) Produce business & functional requirements Produce test cases and perform testing where required Assist in the documentation of current state architecture Assist in the development of architecture blue-prints The individual should have the following experience and skills

* Experience as an analyst working with derivatives & risk management systems * Familiarity with Risk Management is preferred * Excellent documentation skills * Technical background and able to write basic SQL queries * Familiarity with Visio, Mega * Familiarity with ETL concepts & tools preferably Informatica * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Experience of full Software Development Lifecycle * Ability to organize and lead a group of senior business partners during the requirements collection process * Familiarity with systems and architectural concepts
