Position Description and Responsibilities:

Baruch Colleges Division of Continuing and Professional Studies (CAPS) is seeking a Manager, Marketing and Communications. Join a growing team of professional educators in a fast paced and exciting environment. We are seeking a highly creative new member for our team that is seeking a challenge and willing to take our organization to the next level.

This position is responsible for strategic marketing communications, public relations, advertising, promotion and branding for the Division of Continuing and Professional Studies programs, and for driving the Divisions enhanced awareness and reputation. Reporting to the Associate Dean, the Manager of Marketing and Communications will help implement key aspects of the Divisions strategic plan to drive enrollment and build relationships inside and outside of the college. The duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to: Other Duties: * Develops and implements marketing initiatives via publications and advertising strategies (print, electronic, radio, web and catalog) to increase the divisions competitive advantage and image to recruit and retain students * Writes and publishes the divisions course catalogues, newsletters, bulletins, calendars, marketing brochures and flyers * Plans, develops, and implements recruiting events internally and externally * Designs and manages web-based tracking systems for all marketing campaigns and the divisions web site * Researches, develops and tracks competitive analyses within the industry * Manages Marketing budget and provides strategic planning for the division in marketing and communications * Supervises the Assistant Manager of Web Marketing and Communications and other staff involved in the production of CAPS publications * May perform other duties as assignedSalary:TBD Core Competencies/Qualifications: Qualification Requirements: Bachelors degree and at least six (6) years of full-time work experience in marketing, media, public relations, communications, publishing, advertising or other related area is required. Must have strong interpersonal, verbal and written communications skills. Must be extremely detail oriented and have the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines. Experience in marketing or public relations at a higher education institution is strongly preferred. Experience giving presentations and networking is also preferred.
