The Regional Director provides external wholesaling and client service to specified relationships within an assigned geographical territory as well as sourcing new opportunities with specified DC-specific firms and consultants. This position will focus on growing the firms defined contribution investment-only (DCIO) business. The Regional Directors will be the primary point of contact for dedicated relationships. Responsibilities: Develop relationships with sales representatives and field management of existing and prospective DC providers. Target strategically important third party administrators (TPAs), plan advisors and regional consultants in order to build and strengthen our presence in the DC industry. Diligently service our existing book of large market DC plan sponsors. Work alongside Institutional Separate Account (ISA) Sales and Consultant Coverage professionals to facilitate introductions, cross-selling opportunities and provide up-to-date search / coverage information. Prepare, develop and execute business plan for assigned territory. Maintain reporting for budgeting and expenses purposes via Seibel. Align available resources with client needs to provide support for planned sales activities. Deliver creative solutions to your partner contacts and their advisory clients utilizing the full range of the firms resources. Presentation delivery at clients home office location with National Account Manager Requirements: BA/BS degree or the equivalent experience and education. NASD Series 7, 63; CIMA, CFP, CFA is a plus. Ideally, a minimum of five years working specifically in the DC space (plan sales, DCIO, plan advisory, consultant etc.) Excellent presentations skills. Public speaking is required. Self-starter with the ability to work independently Comfortable understanding of investment management, financial concepts and client service strategies. Ability to prioritize requests, effectively manage relationships and successfully interact with financial professionals. Ability to adapt to changing field environment. Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint. Extensive travel required.
