General Description: Under the routine supervision a Senior RF Research Associate or designee, performs simple to moderately complex research, investigation, or analytic activities as part of a research team or working individually; works under varying degrees of supervision depending on the scope and complexity of the project, the assignment, or the qualifications of the incumbent. Assists in gathering information for routine reports. Assists in planning meetings, conferences, web-based communication etc. Maintains confidentiality as required by the project or as directed by supervisors. Other Duties: This is an NIAAA funded clinical trial for women with posttraumatic stress disorder and alcohol abuse/dependence. Other duties will include: (1) Recruitment and screening of study participants, (2) conducting weekly and periodic follow-up research interviews, (3) scheduling and coordinating study visits with study participants, (4) data entry, (5) bio- specimen collection, (6) managing a petty cash account, (7) organizing study documents, (8) monitoring bio supplies and reordering, (9) providing administrative support to the intervention team.Salary:$30,000-$34,000 Core Competencies/Qualifications: Candidates must have a Bachelors degree and at least one year of research experience. Candidate should be detail oriented, able to communicate effectively, and able to multitask and problem solve. Candidate must be interested in and comfortable working with women who have experienced alcohol problems and who have posttraumatic stress disorder. Candidate should have a working knowledge of microsoft office. Knowledge of SPSS is desired. Experience with structured clinical interviews preferred. Position will remain open until filled.
