Play a key role in our future success: Job Description Responsible for overall successful service in the cafe, under the guidance of the Director of Operations or General Manager. Ensures that the standards of excellence set by Restaurant Associates and the client are met. Maintains excellent relationships with the client and their guests, as well as other departments within the operations. Must be able to hire, train and develop hourly associates. Recipe to Succeed: * Good Supervisory, leadership, management and coaching skills * Good communication skills both written and verbal * Knowledge of industry trends, and fine dining service * Ability to communicate on various levels to include management, client, hourly associate and departmental levels * Knowledge of financial, budgetary, accounting and computational practices * Proficient computer skills to include; various computer programs, Microsoft Office programs, e-mail and the Internet * Ability to multi-task as well as stay on task and concentrate with constant interruptions * Exhibit courtesy, tact and reasonable speed in performance of duties Necessary Ingredients: * College or Certificate degree preferably in Hospitality plus 2 years of management experience * 2 years of upscale food service experience. * Experience with cash handling procedures and reconciliation of cash banks and reports * The ability to hire, train, coach and counsel hourly associates * ServSafe® or Department of Health certified * Must be able to pass a criminal back ground check and pre-employment drug screening Great People.
