Play a key role in our future success: Job Description Responsible for the execution of conference room dining services and day to day Catering Department operations at a corporate dining account. Always ensuring that the Standards of Excellence, as determined by the client and Restaurant Associates are met. Maintains excellent relationships with the client and their guests, as well as other departments within the operations.

Recipe to Succeed: * Coordinates and oversees all executive dining operations in conference rooms and internal catering events. * Knowledge of A/V equipment with the ability to set up and break down for events. * Develops and maintains the catering marketing plan including a comprehensive event planning service to clients and detailed menu development. * Hires, trains, and schedules catering associates, and is actively involved in the development of existing associates in service techniques, menu presentation, policies, and procedures. * Ensures successful operations and catering functions in conference rooms including preparation, transportation, setup, operation, and clean up of all events. * Additional responsibilities include the reporting of operating statements, reports, and operational budgets, and review of the collection of receivables * Responsible for all catering activities, books, plans & directed functions * Menu development and marketing functions as they relate to the catering department

Necessary Ingredients: * Associates or certificate in Hospitality and/or Culinary degree a plus. * Strong knowledge of food, food trends, fine dining points of service. * A minimum of 3 years of experience in hospitality industry including 2 years in management (preferably Catering Management) is required * Booking, selecting and costing menu items, pricing contracts, and resourcing temporary help and equipment experience is key * The ability to supervise food preparation, service and clean up is also essential * ServSafe Certified a plus * Must be able to pass criminal background check and pre-employment drug screening.
