Hair Salon Color Laboratory Assistant RND000001328- We are looking for qualified Cosmetologists to work as Laboratory Assistants in Procter & Gamble’s Clairol Product Evaluation Salon based in New York City. The Salon plays a key role within our Research & Development organization in designing, testing and delivering outstanding hair colorants for the globe. The team has a wealth of experience creating, assessing and inputting to colorant approval for retail and professional brands. The Salon is responsible for working with project teams to deliver breakthrough shades and palettes on brands such as Nice ‘n Easy, Natural Instincts, Herbal Essences, Hydrience, Clairol Professional, etc. This job is based in New York City at our 345 Park Avenue location with occasional travel to our Global Design Center in Stamford, CT. The Assistant will see about 10 clients per day, which involves managing the clients through the Salon; applying the color selected by our Colorists; and rinsing and blow dry styling the client’s hair. At other times the Assistant will help our Colorists with shampoos, rinses, and drying. Other duties include taking instrument reading of hair color, preparing the test product, stocking shelves, filling in for the front desk client coordinator, and arranging shipping and receiving of test products. !*! %%0A We are seeking individuals who:%%0A%%0A * are qualified Cosmetologists, licensed to work in New York State.%%0A * live within commuting distance of the New York City Salon address.
