Job DescriptionPART-TIME CLINICAL DIETITIANQueens, NY. Find your oasis in the city. Morrison Management Specialists has partnered with a large long-term care facility situated on five acres of lush grounds in Briarwood, Queens. Together we are seeking a part-time Clinical Dietitian to be part of our team of progressive dietitians. As a Clinical Dietitian with Morrison you will be responsible for providing medical nutrition therapy to resident populations, including nutrition assessment, modified diet formulation, self-management training and nutrition intervention to residents. You will ensure resident satisfaction, quality care, regulatory agency compliance, and good public relations through the safe and efficient use of resources. Recipe to Succeed: * Good communication skills both written and verbal * Ability to communicate on various levels to include management, residents, client, associate and departmental levels * Knowledge of computational practices * Computer knowledge/skills to include; various computer programs, Microsoft Office programs, e-mail and the Internet * Ability to perform various motor skills such as; lifting, reaching, bending, twisting, pushing, pulling, squatting, grasping and arm-hand coordination on a continuous basis * Ability to get along well with others, to demonstrate flexibility and patience, to work as a member of a team, and to demonstrate a high level of sensitivity and interest in people * Willingness to participate in patient satisfaction activities * Exhibit courtesy, tact and reasonable speed in performance of duties

Necessary Ingredients: * B.S. Degree in Dietetics or related field of study – CADE accredited program * Credentialed as a Registered Dietitian by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) required, registration-eligible status acceptable for entry-level position * Minimum of one (1) year hospital or nursing home experience preferred, unless entry-level position * ServSafe® certified desirable * Must be able to pass criminal background check Great People.
