Premiere owns and operates radio properties in music, sports, general entertainment, talk, and urban specialties. This internship is based in Manhattan. The internship resides in Network Marketing and Client Solutions, a department providing support to Premieres advertising sales team. This department develops positioning for Premieres 90+ radio properties, creates sales materials, explores opportunities for growth in digital marketing, and is tasked with creating interest, excitement, and appeal among the advertising community. Furthermore, this group works to find ways to create bigger promotional partnerships between advertisers and Premiere Radio Networks. Internship Description The intern will be asked to do a variety of things, all of which will enable him/her to make significant contributions to marketing programs in development. Responsibilities will include things like: . Learning what radio brings to an advertising campaign . Researching and reporting on media trends, marketing trends, radio trends . Participating in brainstorms . Aiding in development of many presentations . Researching and summarizing key findings about radio personalities . Studying consumer listening behavior patterns . And more. The intern will learn about the inner workings of a large, top quality, entertainment company committed to inspiring innovation and competition in the radio market. This is a hands on position in which the intern will learn about marketing principles in a big business environment, as well as gain strong understanding of the advertising community at large. This position presents an opportunity to develop skills that will be useful in pursuing any marketing, media, advertising, or sales career after college.
