More information about this job: Overview: New York City, NY - The Imaging Sales Representative will promote microscope imaging systems business in the assigned territory by identifying customers, configuring customized systems, demonstrating, installing, teaching and supporting said systems and customers. EOE M/F/D/V

Responsibilities: * Work in conjunction with Dealer and/or Olympus Sales Representatives to make imaging system sales. * Configure customized imaging systems. * Perform customer demonstrations. * Quote Imaging Systems costs and close Imaging Systems Sales. * Install customer systems and train system users. * Provide post sale system support. * Troubleshoot hardware, software and optical problems. * Attend trade shows to demonstrate imaging systems (2-4 per year); attend scientific courses as commercial faculty (1-3 per year); and attend sales meetings. * Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications: (ONLY QUALIFIED CANDIDATES WILL BE CONSIDERED) * A Bachelor's degree in natural sciences is preferred. * A minimum of 4 years of experience in imaging systems software and technology is required. * Microscopy imaging experience is required, specifically in computer integration, scientific imaging software and ccd camera knowledge, and PMT knowledge. * Must be able to travel regularly within a given territory.
