Req Number:80213 Location(s): New York City NY Responsibilities: We have a full-time opportunity for an Hardware and Building Maintenance Specialist. Job Responsibilities: * Identify, assess and strategize facilities repair projects for high-volume retail store located in Midtown Manhattan. * Research and purchase hardware and supplies needed for projects within budget. * Perform general maintenance duties including painting, minor carpentry, electrical and plumbing work. Regularly oversee and perform storewide lighting replacement. * Support store operations team by assisting with incoming shipments and other projects as requested. * Provide support for telephone and computer systems maintenance. Requirements: Experience/Skills: * 1-2 years experience in retail/commercial operations or preventative maintenance * 2 years experience with painting, carpentry, and other interior upkeep processes and procedures * Strong verbal and written communications skills * Working knowledge of computer set-up and phone systems preferred You must be available to work weekends to be considered for this position.
