That way were always a step ahead. Customers drive our business. Field Service Engineers are critical to our post sales service delivery. As an FSE you will install, maintain, and provide preventative maintenance on multifunction printers/copiers installed at our customers locations. You will provide a high level of support for our customers by exhibiting a high degree of technical proficiency, excellent electromechanical skills and professionalism. You will serve as the first line subject matter expert answering technical and application questions. Maintain accurate and complete Perform hardware installations, relocations and repairs on customer equipment working primarily on customer site. Determines site and equipment requirements; outlines interdependencies. Understands customer environment and how the solution fits their needs; identifies consequences of various solutions. Comunicates clearly with customer concerning expectatios of delivery and customer responsibilites. Interacts with sales, channel partners, presales, technical specialists and others as appropriate for task at hand. Develops and implements installation plan to meet customers expectations and time lines. Configures systems hardware, software and network components to a minimum operating system to demonstrate interoperability or hardware components and verification of system operation. Uses proactive process and tools to identify and work future service maintenance needs. Seamless knowledge transfer of installation, support, and break/fix activities. Conducts customer presentations; organizes and presents information to convery major points clearly and persuasively. Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by clarifying customer needs and ensuring that they are met. Handles customers-relations problems promptly and appropriately, escalates issues according to established procedures. Actively pursues opportunities to partner with support and sales teams to grow revenue. Completes installation, support, and break/fix related Manages projects effectively.
Qualifications Qualifications
Preferred Bachelor Degree plus additional broad specialized training with electro mechanical devices . Experienced in installation and servicing of Multi Function Printer and copier based devices(Konica, Xerox, HP, Cannon, 50ppm or greater devices . Familiar with digital copier technologies, digital convergence, and Needs up-to-date technical knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating system and print driver application . Professional communication skills. . Ability to solve problems, anticipate customer needs, develop and propose solutions and gain customer agreement. . Ability to build and maintain ongoing relationships with customers, peers and support partners . Ability to transfer knowledge based on product features and end-user needs . Knowledgeable in the operation and repair of electromechanical devices . Ability to lift 70lbs of equipmentDriver license is a must
