Description * Crucial to post sales service delivery, youll be involved with multi-vendor systems including hardware. * Hardware experience on: HP Printers, HP Plotters, HP Proliant Severs, HP Desktops and HP Laptops * Delivering on-site hardware support service to large enterprise and commercial customers, youll install, and repair systems, networks and peripherals. * Youll also run on-site and remote diagnostics and support account managers in a 24/7 environment. * Technical Support Rep performs maintenance and repairs on customer equipment. * Understands customer goals; identifies consequences of various solutions. * Provides the customer with overview of installation activity and repair activity. * Must keep the customer well informed through service. * Maintains a high level of customer satisfaction by clarifying what the customer needs and ensuring that they are met. * Handles customer-relations problems promptly and appropriately, escalates issues according to established procedures. * Actively participated in growth opportunities for products and services. * Must be available to work non standard work schedule and be available for overtime and standby. * Applicant will work primarily on desktop & notebooks, but may also work on thin clients, servers & printing products. ***Applicant must have as much break fix experience on Proliant Server, HP printers, HP Desktops, Laptops and Workstations.*** ***This is for an entry level postion***
Qualifications * High school diploma or equivalent, plus additional broad technical training, or some college. * A+ Certification * Minimum 1 year experience in hardware repairs of desktops and/or laptops * Experience working directly with customers. * Must have excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with customers on-site, in a professional manner. * Strong troubleshooting skills. * This position requires up-to-date technical knowledge in hardware technology. * Applicant should posses technical aptitude and is able and willing to learn and to retain further technical knowledge and apply that knowledge. * Valid driver’s license required along with acceptable driving record. * Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
